Copabella Cadiz

Sadly Cadiz was gelded in 2013 due to ongoing mysterious health ailments in Germany. He has since returned home and is well and back in work with Brooke at Copabella. We are fortunate to have several progeny on the ground.

This Chin-Chin/Quidam de Revel stallion carries outstanding jumping bloodlines which translate into very impressive talent. Cadiz was the Premium Colt and at the AWHA colt slassifications in 2009, receiving particular praise for his temperament and jumping ability. His paces also received high scores and positive feedback. In December 2009, Cadiz was awarded Champion Four Year Old at the Oaks Medallion Young Horse competition at ISS.

After being campaigned very successfully by Jamie Kermond and then David Cameron in 2011, Cadiz is on his way to Germany where he will continue his career with Denis Lynch.

In 2010 Cadiz won the D Grade Championship at Tonimbuk, and placed in other D Grade classes as well. Then he won the D Grade Championship once again at Dapto in January 2011 and graduated to C Grade.

In 2011 David Cameron continued the successes with further wins at C Grade Championships and a very exciting 2nd place finish in his first Mini Prix at Bega.

Cadiz was born in August 2005 having been imported in utero earlier that year. From day one he oozed stallion quality. By Holstein superstar showjumper and two-time Olympian, Chin Chin, Cadiz also carries the best dam lines in Europe. Holland Rose is by Quidam de Revel, another two-time Olympian and arguably France's most successful showjumping breeding stallion.

Chin Chin represented America with rider Jaime Azcarraga, at Seoul where he placed 6th individual, and again at Barcelona.

Quidam de Revel placed 4th individual at Barcelona, and was a member of the Bronze medal winning team with rider, Herve Godignon. He also won the Grand Prix at Hannover, Helsinki and Arhus with Danish rider, Thomas Velin.

Gold Rose, granddam of Cadiz'z dam Holland Rose, is also the dam of the great licensed stallion Calvados.
