Lavender Blue
We purchased Blue from Alyssa Mathers a few years ago for client Jen Andersen. Julia had fallen in love with the mare during the Vic run, when Alyssa and Blue narrowly beat Julia's D Grader into the winning position in a class of 110.
She had great technique and a very competitive attitude, so when Jen decided to sell the mare, and concentrate on the HSC, we bought her. Blue continued to show great form, placing in the ISS Tempo Young Rider Final in 2006, then wowing everyone at Sydney Royal 2007 in the Young Rider series.
Soon after that, Julia was approached by Rod Brown on behalf of a client, and we are told that Blue continues in her winning ways in Japan. She is still missed.
