Julia had her first big Young Rider win on Nutmeg at Elysian in 2006. We had bought the little chestnut from good friend Brooke Campbell, who had had huge success with him in her Young Rider years.
When Julia started training with George Sanna, it was decided that she would learn more on an established Grand Prix mount, and Nutty was quickly snaffled up by Belinda Howard.
