Wynella Remus
Bert had a huge career as an eventer with Hamish Cargill, before converting to showjumping with Julia and completing his first World Cup at Sydney Royal in 2010. During the previous year, the pair debuted at Canberra Horse Trials, leading the Pre-Novice class after the dressage and showjumping, then dropping into 2nd place behind Chris Burton and Haruzac after notching up a few time faults cross-country. Berrima followed, and this time Bert was given his head cross-country, to win the Pre-Novice on his dressage score.
