Esmeralda

Esme joined the ranks at Copabella as an  unbroken 7-year-old several years ago. At 12.1 hands, this strawberry roan Welsh B pony mare is certainly the most diminutive of our residents, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in talent and spirit. Ian Verner purchased Esme for wife Elayne, to join Paddy Caton on her float, and the team had a very successful run in both dressage and breed showing. Unfortunately Esme fractured a hind leg a year ago, and her future looked uncertain for some months. But Elayne persevered and the team at Randwick Equine performed miracles. Sadly, Esme passed away in 2018.
