Haymen at Home
9th February 2010

Everyone at Copabella was happy to welcome Haymen 'home' today after more than two years at Redleaf. He is back for the next few months to enjoy the resort spa and rehab arrangements available here, having sustained a small stress-fracture injury to his hock during the Senior Titles at the Nationals in Canberra in October last year.
Fortunately the prognosis is good, but the vets attending have prescribed at least six months' relaxation and recovery time, as well as regular laser therapy, before the slow process begins to get him fit and trim again.
This puts Julia and Haymen entirely out of contention for WEG this year, of course, but Julia is looking forward to bringing on the star in the wings, Vedor, as well as seeing how well her great old eventer Reynalla Remus might handle a World Cup round or two.
