    With Julia permanently based overseas, we have decided to wind down our operation at Copabella. Boarding is no longer available, but Visage is still alive and well in residence at Copabella, and available to serve mares with either chilled or frozen semen.

    Just thought I would update you on my 4yo Squiggle. He is just the most wonderful natured, talented and smart kid. Has done two little jumping shows a month apart at Boneo and was an angel at both. Jumping plenty clear rounds and coping with wild Boneo rain at his first show like a pro.     Sharon Ridgway has been in touch with an update on Puzzle's young brother.....   "Squiggle turned 4 this week. He is broken and going really sweetly. First look at coloured poles today! There was never a doubt he wouldn’t jump!  Such a clever kid. Nina Griffiths my God Daughter who is a talented YR will jump him and I will enjoy being an owner this time around."

    This stunning 3-year-old by Visage was bred by Jane Robinson out of her Caracas mare La Paz. Jane started him last September and reports receiving lots of compliments about his style and movement. Tate joins Valdez, another Visage gelding, on Jane's team.

    Stephen Smith has been in touch again with more great results. The team competed at Berwick yesterday with Kate Farrell-Beadel in the saddle.   • Vivid in America

    Vegas's sister Vivid is now safely out of quarantine in California. Her new owner, Bec Tomsic, kept her horse in training at Copabella several years ago, before moving overseas with her husband. Bec always loved Visage and is excited to start training Vivid for the hunter-equitation circuit in the States.

    Stephen Smith has reported in with another great result for his Visage mare, Lily. Rider Kate just cantered her round her first 1.35 class in the rain at Lang Lang, to finish clear for 7th.
