Gunnedah Wrap-Up

Visage.

The going got even tougher yesterday, with more rain making the footing sticky and very slippery in parts. But Brooke and Luke persevered with the young team in the tough 1.20-5 Grand Prix class, and all horses completed the course, albeit with a rail here and there. Luke was justifiably particularly happy with Vortex who had just the one down in possibly the most challenging course he has done to date.

Then it was a long wait until the main 1.35 Grand Prix class, with more rain and the Young Rider final making the going even worse. Brooke made the sensible executive decision not to start Visage, but she cantered Cadiz around for the experience and he looked pretty amazing. His jump just gets better as the obstacles get bigger. Very happy.
