Riders Series

It was a great start for this new showjumping event at SIEC, set up as a non-profit venture in the interests of giving showjumpers a superior training show, complete with world-class venue, obstacles and course design.

And the Copabella team had a very good first day. Cadiz cantered round the tough 1.30 course double-clear for a 2nd place. In fact, he upstaged senior stallion Visage who got a little too eager during the course, resulting in a rather deep distance to a vertical and one down.

Visage's son, Verdi went on to finish 3rd in the under 30 points 1.30 with Tallara Barwick, while his younger brother Voltage was double-clear in the 1.15 with Brooke. Brooke also won the 1.20 class riding Uklarina. This class included an open water as well as a serious wall, which did not phase Vortex with Luke Brown, or Cashmir with Brooke.

Looking forward to the action tomorrow.
