Apparently the riders' hotel is gorgeous and the shuttles from the hotel are Maseratis, so the show has gotten off to an excellent start. The first to go for Team Equest was Georgie riding Kingsley who went double-clear in the 1.30 class. Tresor was flying in the 1.40 and would have been in the money were it not for one small rider error. Que Sera was also flying but being cheeky at the same time, to finish on a time fault. Finally Vedor had an excellent warm-up round in the 1.50, going clear with just one time fault. A good start.
