It was an excellent show for Brooke and the team, culminating in Brooke being named Leading Lady Rider for 2014. Congratulations Brooke. Well deserved after all the hard work and dedication we've witnessed throughout the year.

Young Voltage was a super star throughout the competition, never touching a rail and picking up 4th place ribbons in the highly competitive Emerald series. His dad also picked up a 4th place before pulling up quite jarred on the firm footing. And Cadiz had good clear rounds at 1.25 as did Uklarina, who finished 2nd.

We decided to withdraw Visage from Melbourne Royal and get him checked by vets at Melbourne University, who confirmed his front feet were definitely feeling the strain. He is on light work for the next few weeks and hopefully will be ready to return to competition by November. Fortunately this does not impact his ability to serve.
