Camden Show

Venice.

Back to showjumping this weekend, and what beautiful weather it has been at Camden with four rings running and massive classes, many with 100+ entries. Cashmir (Chequille Z-Holland Rose) was the Copabella star each day, notching up a win in the Young Horse class and a 4th place in the Open 1.20 the next day. No rails all weekend. Her half brother Voltage was in one of his frisky states, enjoying the cooler weather. No rails for him either, but also no ribbons as Brooke opted not to jump off.

The other star was Vermont, who finished double-clear and 2nd with Abby West in the hotly contested 1.10 Amateur Tournament on day one, and double-clear again on Sunday to finish Reserve Champion overall in a big, strong field. Sarah Dreverman and Mosaic were overall Champions. Jill Waddy and Adonis also had their usual good show, just missing out on places on the final day in the 1.05-10 classes.

In the baby rings, Brooke rode Vermont's sister Victoria as well as Grace Sattout's Venice, and both looked very flash. Keira Byrnesalso had Cascade out for their first outing, and she was delighted with his performance.
