Carodale the Tzar

Thanks to my recent request for photos for an upcoming ad, Abby Thorne has provided some lovely shots and a great report on progress with her talented Visage gelding:

"Well currently Carodale the Tzar is competing around the 1.20m height I have only been competing him for a year and 2 months now and we have had him since he was 6 months old. he did his first 1.30 a few weeks ago. He is a super brave honest and talented horse. Our biggest achievement so far I think was winning the six bar at the Bega Cup in 2015-16 where the last jump was 1.60 which he jumped with ease, and excitement.

At the Tamworth World Cup he was only just stepping up to the 1m classes and he placed 1st in a class of 70 and now he's jumping clear 1.20m rounds. At The Riders Series in February he placed 4th in the 1.20 Pro-Am class.

He consistently places, for the year he has been jumping he has never come home without a ribbon no matter what. I couldn't ask more from him, he's a little power house and when I step him up to the next level each time he has done exceptionally well.
Not to mention he LOVES his job, if he is jumping he's happy.

I really am so happy with him and as we step back into breeding again I will definitely be considering Visage. Because Tzar is without a doubt an eye catching talented horse and if he could understand what people say he would have a big head because he always gets compliments.

I really don't know what more to say haha. I just can't believe that at his first show, The Maitland Show 2015, I was stoked for him to place 4th in the 50cm and now in just a year he's training 1.35+ at home and competing 1.20+."
