Odense Nations' Cup

It was a very tough track for the big class this afternoon. Thirteen nations competed, with four riders per team, and there was only one clear round in the first 25. Australia fielded a talented but slightly green team of horses for this level. Jamie Kermond was first out for Australia with Constellation, having two down and a time fault. Julia was second out with Blinky, with the same result. Next came Steven Hill with Bellini Star, finishing with one down and a time fault. Phillip Lever and Comme Il Faut were our final combination and the pressure of that slot took its toll, with the pair having four down, meaning the team did not make it through to the second round. All will compete again tomorrow in the 1.50 class.
