There's snow on distant peaks here in Switzerland, but all we experienced at the show today was drizzle and a few heavy showers during the Nations Cup this afternoon. These conditions must suit the Irish, because their team won against stiff competition which resulted in the next four teams placing equal second. Team Equest coach Denis Lynch riding long-time partner All Star was first out for the team. The other members were Greg Broderick and Going Global, Bertram Allen and Molly Malone and Cian O'Connor riding Good Luck.

Earlier in the day, Julia and Blinky Bill looked great around the 1.40 track, right up until the last fence, which Blinky knocked out with an unfortunate back-foot flick which he hoped would get him clear.
