AWHA Dressage & Showjumping

The AWHA put on a great show at SIEC today, including dressage, showjumping and young horse classes. Both Visage and Cadiz were well represented in the young horse classes, their progeny notching up a few wins and ribbons.

Visage also finally had his second dressage outing, again finishing 3rd in the Official Elementary 3.3 class, and receiving praise and positive feedback from the judges about his potential. Not bad for a rising-18-year-old still new to this game. Earlier in the day his rider Brooke Campbell also rode Jan Benson's talented pony Fencourt Just a Rascal into 3rd place in the Official Preliminary 1.3 open division.

In between dressage tests, it was a great pleasure to watch Kaden Weaver shepherd our young Vivid around the 70cm and 80cm classes, staying well clear of the rails. Vivid is Vegas's full sister, now rising-5 and looking a very exciting prospect very much like her brother.
