Copabella in Arcadia, 15 pasture-improved acres.

Facilities

The two properties which make up Copabella comprise a comprehensive training facility on 15 acres in Arcadia, as well as a 42-acre property in Wilberforce which has been developed as a combined training and breeding facility.

Copabella, Arcadia

Less than an hour northwest of Sydney's CBD, this boutique boarding establishment provides full service and training for resident horses and their owners. The property has been purpose-built for intensive, high-quality horse care and management. Paddocks are post-and-rail fenced, pasture-improved, irrigated and well-maintained. All have automatic drinkers.

Improvements include state-of-the-art brick stabling for 12 horses, and large overnight yards with shelters for several more. There is an all-weather dressage arena with floodlights for night riding, a huge sanded-and-grassed jumping arena and a large roundyard for lungeing and starting young horses. Boarders share a fully finished tack room with personal tack closets, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and float parking provided.

Redleaf, Wilberforce

Just five minutes' drive from Windsor, Redleaf's 42 acres are predominantly arable, pasture-improved land, which has been post-and-rail fenced to accommodate horses in training as well as the breeding herd. There is a well-maintained dressage arena, huge roundyard and a state-of-the-art sand and Soil-Tex jumping arena, featuring Lou Verwey's latest Capricorn surface.

The cross-country training area is still being developed, but already includes a water jump as well as several typical cross-country obstacles, and a gallop track. Roads surrounding the property are ideal for road work, with very little traffic and wide verges generally available.

For the breeding herd, there is a covered vet crush, a foal crush, and a small roundyard for foal handling. There are also stables and small yards for mares and foals requiring intensive treatment or containment.
